How we handle your information.
Last updated August 2026. This page covers the public website only — see below for where your medical information is governed.
What this policy covers
This policy describes how Daylight Mental Health LLC (“Daylight,” “we”) handles information collected through this public website. It does not cover the patient portal or your medical record — once you become a patient, your protected health information is governed by our separate Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA, provided at intake.
Information you send us
If you email us or use a contact link on this site, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, email address, and the reason for reaching out. We use this only to respond to you and, if you become a patient, to begin scheduling. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.
Online booking
Our booking page shows a scheduling calendar operated by Practice Better (Green Patch Inc.), the electronic medical record this practice uses. Although the calendar appears within our page, it is a separate, isolated window. Anything you enter into it — your name, contact details, the visit you choose, and any health questions it asks — is sent directly to Practice Better and kept in its system. It does not pass through this website, and we do not receive or store it here.
Practice Better handles that information as our service provider under a HIPAA business associate agreement, and under its own privacy policy at practicebetter.io/privacy. Practice Better’s platform loads its own analytics and advertising technology when you use the calendar (at the time of writing, tools from Meta, Microsoft, and Google); that is Practice Better’s technology, not ours, and we cannot turn it off. If you would rather not use the embedded calendar, you can email us instead — the address is on the booking page, and reaching us that way is always an option.
What we don’t do
Apart from the Practice Better calendar described above, no third-party advertising trackers run on this site — and we never run any of our own. We do not share information you send us with outside parties except as needed to provide care you’ve requested — for example the scheduling and medical record system described above — or as required by law.
Cookies & tracking
We don’t run analytics on this site — no visitor tracking, no traffic-measurement tools. The admin sign-in system uses a session cookie required for the login itself to work; that cookie is not used for tracking. If we ever add a traffic-measurement tool, we will update this policy first.
Hosting & server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — the pages requested and the network (IP) address they came from — used only to operate and secure the site. We don’t combine these with anything else or use them to identify visitors.
If you are in crisis
This website and email are not monitored in real time and are not appropriate for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), text HOME to 741741, or call 911.
