How we handle your information.
Last updated July 2026. This page covers the public website only — see below for where your medical information is governed.
What this policy covers
This policy describes how Daylight Mental Health PLLC (“Daylight,” “we”) handles information collected through this public website. It does not cover the patient portal or your medical record — once you become a patient, your protected health information is governed by our separate Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA, provided at intake.
Information you send us
If you email us or use a contact link on this site, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, email address, and the reason for reaching out. We use this only to respond to you and, if you become a patient, to begin scheduling. We do not sell this information or use it for advertising.
What we don’t do
We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site. We do not share information you send us with outside parties except as needed to provide care you’ve requested (for example, a scheduling or EMR system) or as required by law.
Cookies & basic analytics
This site may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand overall traffic (e.g., which pages are visited). These tools do not identify you personally. The patient/admin sign-in system uses a session cookie required for the login itself to work — that cookie is not used for tracking.
If you are in crisis
This website and email are not monitored in real time and are not appropriate for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), text HOME to 741741, or call 911.
